Detailed HP iPaq - instantly recognizable by your audience, the iPaq's distinctive and graceful curves set it apart from all the boxy me-too PDAs that are on the scene, many of which are easily confused with Palm products. This very detailed model includes all four ports and a stylus slot (these are geometry -- not texture maps). A couple of extra contoured styluses are included. It has recently been updated to include additional refinements, such as the groove around the edge separating the front and back of the unit.
The HP iPAQ 5455 and 5555 models sport a host of features such as a biometric fingerprint scanner, 64000 color display, speaker and microphone, bluetooth and 802.11b wireless connectivity, etc.
You will save yourself a lot of time with this model -- it took weeks to complete it with all its refinements.
A Darktree texture is used for the metal finish of the iPAQ body -- you can use it by downloading the very useful FREE Symbiont plugin from Darktree (darksim) or you can use the alternative texture that is included.
A variety of different screen textures are included (see preview images) for the display panel. You can also apply your own (a quick search on Google will reveal many Pocket PC screen shots). To change the screen texture open the iPAQ group and apply one of the included multi-subobject textures to the iPAQ object.
The stylus is removable from the stylus slot. A couple of extra styluses are included (you will need to unhide them).
You can lower the poly count by lowering the Meshsmooth level from 2 to 1 or 0.
