This is a set of the 9 most common types of grass that get used in 3D projects where 3D grass is needed. Great for adding that extra touch of detail to your architectural renders or making that flat textured Soccer field look much more realistic and sophisticated than it would with a 2D texture or simplistic bump or parallax map. The 9 variations mimic seasonal variation and species variation.
This Scene includes 2 Standard Cinema 4D textures (brown ground and the Ball Texture) which are included for convenience only, they are not being sold!
Please Note, if you plan to spread the grass over a much larger field or area, please remember to increase the amount of grass blades created or else you wont get realistic coverage of the bare ground. The density over area ratio must be kept in order to have the grass keep its realistic look. If you just assign the grass generator to an area 10 times the size of the ones in the this scene without increasing the grass density by 10, you will have 10 times less coverage of the ground.
WARNING! Grass in 3D form or Particle form takes MUCH LONGER to calculate and render than a mere flat grass texture or even parallax/bump mapping. A modern Multi-core processor and ample ram is recommended if you want to calculate and render out vast areas filled with any of these grass presets.
This grass is left static, but if needed you can combine it with Cinema 4D dynamics to make the grass deform under objects placed on it, or simulate wind blowing over the grass.
