General Information:
Popular with gamblers, gentlemen and women, the Derringer is a compact and lethal handgun. The only major design drawback was the lack of barrel length, which effectively limited the Derringer's effective range to a table's length. Larger caliber derringer's also suffered from massive recoil, as the light weight frame did little to absorb the forces exerted by the ammunition.
