I made this model for new users to 3DS; it's an example of how to make a pseudo-solid (however hollow) model in 3DS MAX, something not covered in the tutorials.
You can see the method I used by looking at the parameters of the two boxes (the main model has been broken up into two parts, as well as the complete model, for your convenience).
This method could be theoretically applied to other types of models.
Note: You must use ActiveShade Rendering to properly render the inside of the box.
