Nice soldier model with pretty good skinning. I found this model after downloading another free model (Vincent) posted by this user. I found a bunch of motions for my animated short on mixamo.com that are already applied to this character. I use Maya, so it was easy to import the motions on this character by using the FBX plugin and import. I'm giving the review based on the hires model.

I downloaded this character for my iPhone game. I used the low res model and it worked great! I needed strafing, walking and running animations and I found them on mixamo.com as the author says. The low resolution character is actually available for download with motion on mixamo.com but they only visualize the high res. Only problem with this model is that I wish there were a few more textures I could swap in the game to give the feeling of different characters.

It looks really amazing to me (I don't know nothing about skeleton and character animation yet), le body is quite easy to move in a realistic position, the UV mapping done is also very nice, a good job offered for free ! And so a very good advertising !
