Basic film reel set up for motion of film tape and spool. Film tape has been linked to a helix by a regular PathDeform modifier and its motion path is affected by a simple line through a PathDeform WSM (World Space Modifier). This makes it customizable since you can change the motion path to any shape and have the film flow out how you want.
