The F-14 served as the U.S. Navy's primary maritime air superiority fighter, fleet defense interceptor and tactical reconnaissance platform, it was first deployed in the mid 70s and retired in 2006, becoming an icon among jet fighters.

During the Gulf of Sidra accident, on August 19, 1981 two Lybian SU-22 attacked and were shot down by two F-14 from VF-41 off of the Lybian coast. This model depicts 'Fast Eagle 107', one of the two Tomcats, with the typical overall grey paint scheme of the time.

It's complete with the full arsenal of AIM-54 Phoenix, AIM-7 Sparrow and AIM-9 Sidewinder.
