The F-14 served as the U.S. Navy's primary maritime air superiority fighter, fleet defense interceptor and tactical reconnaissance platform, it was first deployed in the mid 70s and retired in 2006, becoming an icon among jet fighters.

This scheme was adopted by a VF-111 CAG bird in 1989 while aboard USS Carl Vinson. The Miss Molly in question was Molly Snead, log time friend of the ship's namesake, Congressman Carl Vinson, and the nurse who cared for his wife. She was present at the carrier's commisioning and performed the ceremonial christening of the ship.

It's complete with the full arsenal of AIM-54 Phoenix, AIM-7 Sparrow and AIM-9 Sidewinder.
