Highly detailed model of the 'Endeavour'. The Endeavour was the Ship of Captain James Cook
on his first voyage of discovery to the Pacific Ocean in 1768. Via Tahiti and other
Ilands it sailed to New Zealand and finaly to Batavia.

She was ship-rigged, and sturdily built with a capacious hold. Despite not being very fast
her flat-bottomed hull was well-suited to sailing in shallow waters and more importantly for
her proposed use, she was, like other colliers of the north-east coast of England, designed to
be beached. Her overall length was 32.3 m (keel 27.7 m), beam 8.9 m, and she weighed 400 tonnes (397 tons)

It consists of Hypernurbs-Objects, Instances, and symmetry objects. The sail rigging is done with
SweepNurbs objects. So you will have maximum control with minimun Polygon count. Scene Informations are:

Memory:    ca. 3567 kbyte
Points:    16400 (636006)
Polygons:   12292 (571608)
Objects:    536 (3991)

Texture count:         30
(Watertex is included.)

For the file is very complex a readme file is included with the file structure and some useful tips to optimize
Your renderings.

The model will work for closeups as well as for far distance Renderings.
It is a typical bark of the 18th century. So You can take it for
any purpose like merchant-or pirate ships as well.
Feel free!! Be your own captain.

Enjoy!!
