The EMD GP40-2 is a railroad classic, almost all major railways in US and Canada had it and most engines are still operating. This model is a highly accurate depiction of SP GP40-2 locomotive number 7299 one of Southern Pacific's 68 GP40-2s.
This may well be the most detailed GP40-2 available on the net. The model is accurate to nuts and bolts and has been built with great precision, a lot of time has been spent ensuring this skin is prototypical and that this engine has SP's exclusive features like long hood positioned horns, AC unit, extra radio antennas on cab roof, anti-climbers, correctly positioned and shaped headlights.
The model is fully UVW unwrapped and the zip file contains a weathered set of textures as well as a clean looking set of textures and a re-skin kit.
