Created with and for Lightwave 9.6 or better, this high-detail DVD shell is perfect for prototyping your own marketing materials or for use in broadcast projects. The full shell includes a simple disc and brochure insert and is easily customized by replacing the artwork on the clearly-named surfaces. The shell itself consists of three hinged parts easily animatable using simple rotation.

Also included are a simple blank shell for use as a background prop. This shell consists of the empty case itself and plastic sleeve into which a separate artwork insert object is placed. High-resolution artwork for 14 DVDs are included for use in your scenes or as samples to replace with your own art.

Keeping the shell and art as separate objects allows for a single shell to be duplicated using instancing plugins such as HDInstance so that tons of DVDs can be created by simply parenting the low-poly artwork objects to each instanced shell without the overhead of hundreds of shells. Scenes are included for both standard 'multiple-load' shells AND a version for use with HDInstance. The sample images above are created using the HDInstance version (note the instanced cases in the wireframe shots).
