The Double Bubble commercial aircraft design concept is the result of a series of analytic studies performed by MIT to identify extremely aerodynamic efficient prospects.
This model represents the favored design which combines full lifting body (including nose) with a high aspect wing and optimally integrated engine arrangement.
The outcome produces a design capable of carrying 180 pax 3000+ nmi with a 75% reduction in fuel requirements.

The assembly model consists of 36 individual part / layer subassemblies.
