Don-2N is Soviet/Russian Anti-Ballistic Missile and Space Vehicle Tracking Radar, key part of the Russian ABM defence based on A-135 (ABM-3) system. Don-2N (NATO codename Pill Box) was built to protect Moscow from nuclear missiles threat and entered into service in 1989. This is very large structure more than 33 meters in height and the sides dimensions of 130 meters at the bottom and 90 meters at the top. Each of four faces of the radar has a round 18 meters diameter receiver dish on the left side and more than 10 meters square transmitter on the right side. The Don-2N is unique radar in the world and able to trace 5cm target at the distance of 1500km. The Don-2N is able to provide a space control up to 40.000km in height and 2000km in distance, tracing simultaenously up to 100 targets.
