Harry Bertoia's 1950 experiment with bending metal rods into practical art produced a revered collection of seating, including the exquisite Bertoia bench. Innovative, comfortable and strikingly handsome, the bench's delicate appearance belies its strength and durability. The solid wood slats are pre-treated to prevent sagging or warping.

~ Modeled and rendered with 3ds Max 9 / V-Ray, V-Ray scene requires V-Ray plugin, the Scanline scene requires no plugins.
~ 3ds Max 9 is the native file
~ High quality modeling that is detailed, excellent for closeups, and architectural visualization.

~ Added 3ds Max 9 format with V-Ray materials, and with standard materials for Default Scanline Renderer.
~ The rendering scene you see in the second image is not included.
~ Materials are named logically.
~ Objects in the files are named logically.
~ Textures are named logically.
~ In 3ds Max files textile material color is fallof color, so easily can be changed to any other color.
~ Texture size is 900*900 pixel / 72 dpi.
~ 3ds Max files are with smooth (subdivision) level 2.
~ All other files where saved at 3 smooth levels.
~ The model has quads and tris only.
