This is a highly detailed model of the deoxyribonucleic acid with its double helix structure. It shows all four bases (adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine attatched to the polynucleotide chains consisting of the saccharine and the residual phosphate. Both polynucleotide chains are modeled in reversed directions that means that the first polynucleotide chain proceeds from 3' to 5' carbon-atom and the second polynucleotide chain from 5' to 3' carbon atom of the nucleoside. Also the model shows the hydrogen bridge bond between the four bases (two between adenine and thymine and three between cytosine and guanine). All bonds are placed chemically correctly.
