The 4x4 Cougar H is used by the United States Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force) the Iraqi Army and has now entered service with the British, Polish and Canadian Armies. In service the Cougar is used in a number of roles, including the HEV (Hardened Engineer Vehicle) and the Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal Rapid Response Vehicles (JERRVs), troop transport, medical evacuation, logistics support and range of others.
