Objects are separated by materials.
From this file you can export .obj file/s to other mesh working softwares like 3DstudioMax , Maya , Lightwave ... etc.
You dont need to mesh the model inside Rhino , it`s already meshed properly with third party mesher which gives much better results.
Different .obj files can be exported by material - carpaint.obj , steel.obj , cast-iron.obj ... etc.
