Bombardier developed this Lear Jet 45 beginning in 1992. Designed to be the next generation in the Lear Jet family.
It first flew on the 32 anniversary of the first flight of the Lear Jet 23. It carries 2 crew and 9 passengers including one on the lavatory which is certified as a seat. It has a maximum speed of 464 knots and has a cruise speed of 455 knots.
