This package consists of 7 high poly rocks and stones suitable for all kinds of vizualisations. Every object has its own custom made color and normal map made in Zbrush which makes them completelly seamless from any angle. Normal maps were made at around 3 million polygons resolution for each stone. Cavity map is already merged with color texture. If you need another color tone, you can simply adjust it in photoshop. All textures are 1024 x 1024 png.
Available formats are: 3ds, lws, ma, max, obj, xsi, dwg, fbx and wrl.
IMPORTANT: Textures are saved as a separate zip file that you have to download separately: stones2_TEXTURES.zip. Unzip this file and save your scene file in the same directory as textures.
IMPORTANT: Normal maps that are included are not the same as bump maps and are not meant to be used as such. It works, but the result is not correct. You have to be careful to use them as TANGENT SPACE NORMALS and not as BUMP. Mental Ray has no problems with normal maps and renders them perfectly. Of course the use of normal maps is optional.
