Created in 3ds Max 2013 rendered with mental ray not VRay. Intended for books in bookshelves.

Books are to scale, textures are of the book cover only and were made using photoshop (using actual scans of original book covers) - but are jpeg files.
Each book is individually UV mapped and textured.
Some UV editing was used to align the spine accurately but it is an easy fix.
Just in case here's how I edited them:
--just apply texture to book, unwrap uvw modifier, open uv editor, select all verticies of book spine, select the freeform mode, change the checker map pattern (top right) to the texture then fidget with the edges until they line up properly. Any questions - just ask.
