The maya scene file is from maya v6, is a perfectly seamless nurbs model that comes from real human body shape. There are 28 surfaces in all that fit together in a perfect puzzle of the human body. Because all of the isoprams match up exactly this model is easy to skin, texture, and animate in many ways.
