The Besegra V1 is a concept car of my own design. I wanted to make a unique vehicle that was had a next-gen look to it but was also realistic.
This product is available as a 3DS Max 2009 scene file and as an OBJ. The Max scene file contains all materials, textures and lights and is set up to render the images shown using no third-party plugins or rendering engines. (The OBJ file is model-only. You will need to apply your own materials to the OBJ model.)
This vehicle was modeled with great attention to detail and form using polygonal modeling. It uses only tri- and quadrangular polygons and great effort was made to keep poles to a minimum. All objects are set to use TurboSmooth at render. Read more about this in the downloadable 'Besegra_readme.txt' file.
All objects within this model are organized into separate layers, making it easy to toggle them on and off as desired while navigating the scene.
Materials in this scene utilize the Mental Ray rendering engine (Car Paint Material (mi), Arch and Design (mi, and ProMaterials (mi)). I have included a detailed breakdown of how the materials are organized in the downloadable 'Besegra_readme.txt' file if you would like to change these materials to your liking.
