audi q7 salt flats max - Audi Q7 On Salt Flats... by gs.models

This is a highly accurate Model of an Audi Q7 driving straight on salt flats.
It also contains a male driver model with sun glasses.

Files contain the full setup as shown on the images an in the movie.

All Parts are lower resolution polygonal Meshes with instanced Turbosmooth modifier on top.
The use of the car model is focused on Exterior shots hence it has no detailed Interior.

The driver Character is only modeled from torso upwards. He is placed staticly in the car

The car is linked correctly with several helpers, so you can animate it right away, but it's not fully rigged.
there is a little setup on the wheels, to simulate a proper ground contact. watch the wheels modifierstack to figure it out.
A volume select will soft select the lower part of the wheel, while a FFD space warp pushes those area slightly away from the ground.
the axises do a little suspension wiggle, done via noise controller.

Everything is well named and organized on a set of layers.

All three renderer versions are setup with its own features, however it is not possible to perfeclty match them against each other. Close ups are rendeed with the

final Render version.

All Maxfiles are prepared to be rendered in a Linear Workflow (LWF)
