We've all got one. Here is a high poly 3D model of an artist's posable figure (does this thing have an official name?). The model is built to scale (let's not talk about that frustrating chest piece) in 3D Max 2010. I've exported to .3ds and .obj but the .max file is the main one.

I've focused on making this a high quality realistic model so you almost won't even need to texture it. I haven't used any textures but the metal material used for the pole is included as well as the lighting set up.

No plugins required.

This is a nice model. I was in a hurry to get some storyboard work done and thought that this would be perfect as a poseable character. I had to rig it to make it poseable but well worth the cost. Thank you for your time and efforts. You saved me a great deal of freehand drawing.

Excellently designed model, and easily rigged for potential animations, acts just like a skeleton. Works exactly how you''d expect a lay figure to work in real life.
