The US Army began the creation of the H-60 Hawk family of aircraft in 1976 by selecting Sikorsky as the manufacturer of its new Utility Tactical Transport Aircraft and the Army has since become the largest operator of Hawks in the world, receiving over 950 of these aircraft between 1979 and 1989.

Sikorsky have produced many variants of this aircraft over the years, with everything from long-distance coastguard versions to stripped-down special ops machines. Blackhawks are in service with almost all of the worlds major airforces.

This model is complete with a number of interchangeable parts which can be used to customise the helicopter to represent your required prototype.

As well as a standard US Army UH-60a Blackhawk the additional parts can create a Pavehawk Special Operations variant, including long range fuel tank and refueling probe and side mounted cargo pods.

A pre-configured Special Ops version and Standard version are included, as well as a file containing all of the variation components.

This model comes complete with accurate interior detail, side mounted mini-guns, opening doors for crew, gunners and passengers and a selection of fuselage paint schemes.

This model forms part of the Electric Shed collection.

This model is suitable for animation in Television and Film, or as a high-end real-time model. The interior can be hidden to speed rendering
times.

The model is separated into components, fuselage, doors, interior, guns etc.

The actual polygon count varies depending on which parts are used, but a guidline polycount is 11300 Polygons and 6600 Verts in the model, the texture map is a single 1024x1024 bitmap, and this can easily be reduced without significantly affecting the look of the model.

The *.zip file contains both 3DS and 3D Studio MAX formats.
