This is a complete remodel of the original monocular scope that I have listed. You can even look through it! (the lens has a blue tint for effect, but you can make it clear if you prefer.)
The individual scopes are linked to dummy objects that can be rotated. This gives you the ability to twist the scopes as with real binoculars (the leather strap would need to be adjusted to suit any new position). By comparison, notice that the other antique binocular models available have a fixed non-adjustable connection between the two scopes.
I have used Symbiont procedural materials (using the DarkTree shader). You can use these in Max even if you don't have DarkTree, by downloading the free Symbiont plugin from Darktree. Its a really cool way to get procedural textures! I also included similar standard textures in case you don't want to use the Symbionts.
The objects are not collapsed, so you can lower total polys by reducing the number of lathe segments and the beveling on them, etc.
