About the model: This nicely detailed and textured model is a completed version of the Alcestis I - an original design. Included in this model, you also get the Alcestis Habitat Vessel (4) and the Alpha-I short range Shuttle (8) - each of these models are also available separately here on TurboSquid. About the Alcestis I: The Alcestis I is a long-range transport vessel. The main purpose is the transportation of passengers in stasis in the 4 Habitat vessels. The Habitat vessels are capable of detaching for docking to a space station or other Habitat vessel as necessary. Each Habitat vessel contains 2 short-range Alpha-I shuttles for a total of 8 shuttles. The Alpha-I shuttle includes landing gear and entrance/exit ports as well as limited defense systems. The Alpha-I is designed to enter a planet's atmosphere and land as necessary.
