Steel wire braided collective screened instrumentation cable with individually shielded pairs

Application:
· Connection of for instance temperature meters, flow meters, process control systems, distributed control systems
· For direct burial
· Also suited for above ground installations where extra mechanical protection of the cable is required
· When a high crosstalk attenuation is required
· Suitable for areas with many electromagnetic interference (EMI) signals

Properties regarding fire performance:
· Self-extinguishing in accordance with NEN-EN-IEC 60332-1

Construction:
Conductor: stranded plain copper (class 2)
Insulation: cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
Cores: 2 cores twisted to a pair
Assembly: pairs cabled together wrapped with polyester foil
Collective screen: metallized polyester foil with a drain wire of stranded tinned copper underneath
       wrapped with polyester foil
Inner sheath: polyethylene (PE)
Braiding: galvanized steel wires with a flexible earthing lead of tinned copper wires underneath
       wrapped with polyester foil
Outer sheath: polyvinyl chloride (PVC) flame retardant (mb)

Electrical properties:
Voltage rating: 300 V
Test voltage: 1,5 kV
Insulation resistance: > 1000 M?.km
Loop inductance per pair: 0,7 mH/km

Core colours:
Standard colours: each pair 1 black and 1 white core,
       wrapped with polyester foil, pair number printed on the foil
