General Information:
The Mk12 MOD 0 is a Special Purpose Rifle developed for use by special forces snipers and designated marksmen. Essentially an accurized and highly modified M16, the Mk12 is capable of accepting all M1913 rail accessories. A free floating barrel ensures accuracy, while effectively dissipating heat buildup. Front and rear sights fold to provide a clear field of view when high power optics are used.

This particular asset portrays the Mk12 MOD 0, as used by particular elements of the US SOF community. Variations from standard issue equipment include: the optical sight is mounted via a monolithic quick release scope rings and the bipod is a longer and more durable version than was issued with the weapons system.
