3dsmax greek shield zero - Shield.max.zip... by Snickerdoodle

This is a highly detailed high resolution Greek Shield. It is a virtual copy of one carried by Heracles, as depicted on a 6th century BC amphora housed at the louv.

The face of Medusa and the surrounding trim where modelled separately as a flat object, then projected onto the curve of the shield, then extruded and bevelled.
The object is parametric with the stack still in place. Mesh smooth is set to zero in the view port and 2 at render time.
