This wheel is composed of a rubber tire and decorative chrome rim. The rim is an assembly of metal alloy, lighter than usual steel wheels, that comes in a variety of sizes and arrangement/number of spokes. Chrome rims are prone to corrosion and more expensive than regular steel wheels, but are lighter and improve heat dissipation of brakes. The rubber tire comes in a variety of treads, depending on use of vehicle.
