High quality, realistic 3D model of an Opah fish (Lampris guttatus).
The Opah (also known as moonfish, sunfish, kingfish, redfin ocean pan and Jerusalem haddock) is a large and colorful fish living in temperate to tropical regions of the world's oceans. The scientific name of the genus Lampris refers to its shiny body (in Greek, lamprid- means 'brilliant' or 'clear'.
The opah is the first fish discovered to have a warm heart, it can keep most of its body consistently at a temperature above the water temperature.
The Opah 3d model is a well researched and modeled product; it features a realistic shaped body, opened gill covers, fins true to original in shape and length as well as lifelike textures. All this gives the model a very realistic appearance.
The body and the eyes are separated model parts.
All parts of the model are clearly named and hierarchically ordered. The parts have 7305 quad shaped polygons and 8396 vertices altogether.
