The Cloud collection includes a series of benches, with or without backs, designed for public spaces such as receptions atriums and galleries. Based on a minimalistic floating element, the linear benches can be combined with curved elements to create free flowing compositions.

Naoto Fukasawa was born in Yamanashi Prefecture and graduated from Tama Art University in 1980. He has worked with Seiko Epson, designing wristwatch & wristTV technology; LCD TVs, LCD projectors and other equipment. He has designed a number of products utilizing state-of-the-art technology for start-up companies and for big brand name computer and communications related companies, and has won numerous design awards in Europe and the United States.

The sofa with upholstered bench-style seat, with or without backrest, is supported by a polished metal tube that conveys a sense of lightness and mid-air suspension. The backrests, shorter than the length of the seat, feature a narrow ?'turned-up' section at the top that can also function as an armrest. A quarter-circle element was conceived to combine benches of different sizes, with or without backrest, to produce seating areas of different sizes and shapes, and create original landscapes in public areas. Optional small wood table with ebony finish and matching corner unit can also be added to selection.
