Ben is a realistic model of 9-13 year boy modeled in 3ds max 9 with further animation in mind. Clear edge loops based mesh with reasonable polygon count and normals bump maps contributing to the level of detail of both body and clothes. Separate maps set for head (4000x4000px) and for body (6000x4000px) that you might need to reduce to render. I include .psd files of diffuse maps for t-shirt, shorts and sandals so it is easy to change colors. Also I include displacement maps created in Zbrush in case they are needed. And Ztl. models of body and head themselves.

Ben is originally bald and has two types of hair to wear – polygonal hair with opacity map and native 3ds max simulated hair grown from the low poly object linked to the head. ‘Morper’ for facial animation is set up and parameters wired.

The model is symmetrical what makes it easier to rig. Bump maps and all texture maps are not symmetrical. Units = cm. Ben’s hight is 140 cm. Objects in the scene are logically subdivided into layers, so it is good idea to use layer manager.

Previews were rendered with 3ds max’s scanline renderer , three spots and a skylight. Except for one rendered with Vray (marked). No post work on the images, only text was added. SSS never used, its up to you to introduce it or not.

Obj and Fbx formats are exported from 3ds max and will need materials reassignment. All the morph targets are included.

Base mesh : 5446 vertices, 5404 polygons (including 4 triangles)
