The Fridtjof Nansen class of frigates, for the Royal Norwegian Navy, are a derivative of the Spanish Alvaro de Bazán class of AEGIS-equipped air defense frigates. The lead ship (and thus, the entire class) is named after Fridtjof Nansen, the Norwegian explorer and humanitarian.

This model is made in 3dsMax 9 and ready for any high end animation projects and stilled display projects. All thumbnails are rendered by the .max vray version.

Main products include 2 files:
1. max 9 (with vray setting). This is the original file and requires Vray 1.5 plugin (advanced render engine from Chaos Group). It's used to make all the thumbnails.
2. max 9 (with scanline setting). It utilizes 3dsMax's default render engine and does not require any plug-ins.

I needed a version of this quick, and it does satisfy my needs. Very nice render in VRay, though the mesh is quick messy. Eventhough you can detriangulate it, it still got some issues. But price vs time, this is a bargain.
