I've always had trouble knowing what to write here. It's a jet engine. The design is base on a schematic I came upon on the Internet and I can't really vouch for its accuracy but it can be useful for educational presentations or as part of a game design or what ever your project requires.
I've made the model in such a way to you can easily change the cut amount or close it up entirely and use it as a normal jet engine.
The procedure is simple:
1. Unhide the 'hidden blades'
2. Set the Lathe angle to 360 (or what ever you like)
There are no bitmaps used in the model.
Made with vRay materials.
The HDR used in the pictures is unfortunately not included.
The Lathe modifier can be adjusted to increase or decrease the detail level of the model.
