This is a high-poly model of a classic design corded rotary phone of the 80's, with the BellSouth logo.
The scene you will download contains 2 versions of the phone, one with the headset in place on the top of the main body and the other with the headset on the table.
The file is 3dsMax 2009 and the renderer/materials are Vray 1.5sp4a.
The materials and textures that where used to make the display renders are included in the .max and the .rar files respectively.
There are also .psd files that you can use to make any color combination you want. The main body has a UVW Map - Planar modifier and the headset has an Unwrap UVW modifier (for the bump map with the warning). The cable has a PathDeform modifier.
The main idea in making this model, was to make a product that would allow any color/texutre combination to be made with a few clicks and rendered in one of the 2 most obvious states of the phone that one would need.
If for any reason you want the headset to be in another position, you can readjust its position accordingly and then change the shape of the cord, by changing the shape of the spline it uses as a path (with the PathDeform modifier).
Notice: this product is to be used as a tool for creating many color combinations. Other textures and mapping can be used by customers who are familiar with the basics of texturing/mapping. Please also note that in the 'rainbow' version, there are 2 different materials, one for the main body and one for the headset. On the headset, after applying the headset material, the customer will have to apply a different color material on the 2 caps (that are yellow on the presentation images).
I hope you enjoy this high quality model.
