3ds floor lamp - Floor Lamp by WardVs

Model of a Floor Lamp.

Although no actual light setup is included in this scene, in real life 2 halogen lamps produce a bright and warm light (2800 kelvin). The smaller lamp is attached to a chain off tubes who can all move independently.
In all included files (except OBJ) a hierarchy is set up to make control of this chain very easy (an example is shown in the images whit standard 3ds max materials).
The images above where rendered whit VRay 2.0 in 3DS Max 2011.

There are two .max files included. One with VRay materials (3DS Max VRay plugin required), and another one with ordinary 3ds max materials (both make extensive use of raytracing).
The included 3DS, OBJ and FBX files only have standard materials and do not use raytracing.

Initially this model counts 9556 Polygons and 5050 Vertices
For a smoother result, use the turbosmooth modifier
2 turbosmooth interactions result in 156144 Polygons and 79013 Vertices.
