All functional parts in the model are in separate layers, and their respective pivot points are properly placed alowing for easy animation of each separate part.

If you don't need all the detail in the lightbulb, you might want to delete it, because it is made of 4986 polygons. There is a NURBS version of this lightbulb available as a separate product.
