Application:
· High voltage connections in neon-sign installations, for cable runs in metal cabinets
· For situations where mechanical protection is necessary
General properties:
· Very good tracking resistance

· The steel wire braiding provides outstanding mechanical protection

Remarks:
· NEN-EN 50107 applies for the installation
· There must be a sufficient distance between the connections and grounded metal parts
· Because of the tracking resistance of the EPR insulation, about 3 cm of the sheath should be removed extra at the termination
· Cable joints should be avoided
· The use of a corona-resistant termination kit is recommended
· The cable may not be fixed with metal clamps

Insulation: ethylene propylene rubber (EPR)
Inner sheath: polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
Braiding: galvanized steel wires, with a flexible earthwire of tinned copper wires underneath
