The pt-76b Soviet light amphibious tank, dubbed the 'swimming tank', the stabilised maingun version. This vehicle has been widely exported around the world, but not in service in Russia anymore. Perfect for simulations of the turbulent Cold-war period in the fifties.
Model adopted for ingame use.
Three LODs provided and layered PSDs supplied, making easy to change color schemes and markings.
Textures: 512x512x32, 512x256x32, 512x512x16 bumpmapalpha, 256x128x32
To animate the tracks, just UV-spin the track texture.
The model has a bump-map texture applied, and the transparency is lying on the same texture, both bump and transparency lie on the second UV channel.
If only one UV channel is available in your engine application, then it is possible to use the alpha channels supplied in the main textures. Copying between UV channels in Max is easy,
just 'Save' the UV-coords in channel X in the Unwrap modifier, and immediately 'Load' the coords you saved in channel Y.
