The Mtl files are just a basic plastic look. The small sampling of eggs I have on hand are so varied, there was no way to pin down a particular style of material.

I tried to reproduce a plastic Easter egg (based on one I have here) in every detail. It has the mold divits on each end, the slight lip around the seam, the closure ridge on both parts, the flat spot inside each tip, the overall contour of the egg and even the thicknesses as they varied. On the bottom half, the closure area became very thick, but on the top half it became thinner. These are details that will only be seen (but are vital to realism) if your application can handle translucent rendering (only the higher level apps at this time).

This egg is detailed enough for high level rendering, but also great for hobby fun rendering.
