        The Oliver Hazard Perry class frigates were designed primarily as Anti-submarine warfare ships intended to provide open-ocean escort for the United States Navy. OHPs have seen service in the navies of Australia, Taiwan, Spain, Bahrain, Egypt, Poland, and Turkey.
