| Oddly enough, the Ion 170 wheel is only available with the red ring, and asides from decoration it seems to really serve no other purpose. In my eyes the Ion 170 favors the import vehicle, using the front wheel all around the car, but this wheel does look nice on some 90's models and maybe others, but it's all up to what YOU like. There is really a lot going on with these wheels, hence the close-ups. These have a similar design to our Cragar 398's but with some notable changes. The center of the wheel tapers backwards and has a beveled inset to house the cap and lugs. Additinally, the center section is thinner, and obviously the red front ring (maybe Ion doesn't make any other color ring but you sure can!) adorned with allen head screw heads and cutouts. This Ion 170 Series wheels package includes the following:
Front 'normal' size wheel (which can be used at all four corners if you want to, instead of using the big rims)
Rear deep dish reverse offset wheel
Our universal lug nuts
Our universal 'DD' center cap, to avoid copyright issues with Ion.
