3d model wide landscape trees forest - Landscape forest enviroment by signSTUDIOS

This extreme wide landscape, with a river flowing through it is fully populated with trees to form large areas of dense forest. The main landscape is detailed textured and in the far background you have a low-poly landscape attached to make camera-views from high up in the sky. The forest is made up of single trees which are collapsed to one mesh in this scene, supporting max to handle this huge amount of trees.

Enviroment-effects like fog and 3dimensional clouds are also included and all this works without any additional plug-in.

Trees are made with crossing planes and have texture coordinates so that you can use your own tree-images - along with an alpha map (you'll find great tree textures around the web). It's not allowed to redistribute the tree textures I used, so these textures are not included. All other textures and materials are included, covering some high res rock textures.

The scene is set up with mental-ray and light is originally designed for night scenes, but can easily be used for daylight scenes too. Additionally this package comes with a 3d-moon placed in the sky and of course the river.
