The model is highly detailed, and is designed with any viewing angle in mind, having thoroughly constructed the support structure from the inside-out.

included inside the .max scene are non-renderable text instructions for help with placement and additions you may wish to make with the model.

The 3DS Max 2009 version of this model comes set up with 'ProMaterials', including two different materials for the lampshade (optimized for lower and higher end rendering). The metal materials have a special setting that adds a bevel to the edges of the models, allowing for less polycount with an optimal result, so for best results it is suggested leaving the materials as-is.

If performance is needed, it is very simple to turn down the side count of the lamp shade and the encompassing metal bands. (model comes at 64 sides- one should not need MORE than that.)
