| The middle-weight Vought-produced A-7 Corsair II was designed as a replacement for the A-4 Sky Hawk light-weight fighter / bomber, and was based on the engineering successes of the F-8 Crusadar. Owing its general visual appearance to the Crusadar, the A-7 Corsair was designed more so as an attack-strike aircraft capable of carrier-based operations than an air-to-air interceptor-capable fighter. Skinned with standard US Navy grey and US Air Force 3 tone woodland type camo. The skins are supplied in bmp format, however the master .psd file with all the seperate layers is included as well. Both camo types are in the same .psd file, turn on/off layers to view each type. |
