The surfaces are all nurbs including trims and extursions and other Alias Studio standard stuff. It was built in this more complicated fashion exclusively for the purpose of milling a physical model using FDM or any other 3D printing method. You can take models like this to a service and they will send you back a toy bird made of wax or other materials, or you can get one of these units for home as they get cheaper every year. This model is not good for adding skeleton and animating or deforming.
