High-quality, high-fidelity 3D models of the famous Tolix industrial chair, armchair, and stools.
The 3ds Max (2010+) file contains five distinct models (A chair, AC Armchair, H45 stool, H60 bar stool, H60PD bar stool), each declined in seven versions (Brut varnished, Candy red, Perforated blue, Gunmetal, RAL paint, Corrugated 1 and Corrugated 2) = 35 different models.
The scene is set up for the Vray (2.x) render. Each model is made to real-world scale: allowing you to merge the model of your choice into your scene and render. Each model has a complex, multi-layered material designed for photorealistic renders. All models are carefully UV-unwrapped for easy material tweaking or use with your own textures. The models are either grouped or collapsed (with Multi-sub materials). The turbosmooth modifier applied on all models is set up to subdivide at render time and can be tweaked for extra details. All models or groups are logically named according to chair model and material applied.
The .OBJ archive includes only the five distinct models and no material settings. However, the UV coordinates are retained and both the .MAX and the .OBJ archives come with all needed high-resolution (4K) texture maps. All textures were specifically hand-painted for these models or procedurally designed to fit the geometry.
A free bonus HDR map of an interior is provided with the file for quick testing.
The polygon count is for all of the 35 objects, with the Turbosmooth modifier turned off. The wire renders show the chairs with the Turbosmooth off.
Polygon counts for each chair are as follows: A Chair = 48,704 AC Armchair = 44,056 H45 Stool = 20,416 H60 Stool = 21,590 H60PD Stool = 22,690
ATTENTION: The archives include only the chair and stool models. The room as shown in the second preview render is only intended as an example of the model used in an interior scene and is not included.
