3d model sun sol star - Sun1.max by DigitalWizardry

This model was used in a mission conceptualization, and is now open to the public. This high-resolution model of our sun, 'Sol,' comes with .max and .3ds files for both the medium 1520 poly and ultra high-res 24960 poly models. This model can be used to represent any medium intensity red star, such as Scorpii, Geminorum, or other solar analogs.

Package also includes texture and two 1280x768 widescreen backgrounds. Please keep in mind that though this does come fully textured, the starfield background is for display purpose only.
